Three Great Teacher Blogs

I am usually one to not click on the first thing that pops up when I search for something. For one it seems like I am not putting in enough effort and two half of the time I am looking for an article for a class I do not seem interested in. With that said when I searched "teacher blogs third grade" I just clicked on the first one because I was not sure what I was looking for. And I am glad that I did. 3rd grade thoughts is a blog written by Stephanie and she is a third grade teacher in Colorado. She has a few articles talking about tools, like calendars, books, and crafts, that she uses to engage her students. Her simplified, yet very adorable website is easy to maneuver. She does not post often, maybe a couple times a month, but she puts a ton of time creating those posts taking pictures, linking where the items can be found, and her personal experiences in the classroom and how she learned from them. I highly recommend her page. Her page can be found here: 3rd Grade Thoughts

The second blog I stumbled upon is Third Grade Doodles. This website grabs the eye with its vibrant neon colors. Kathy has been involved with teaching over 25 years. Her first visible post on her page is very detailed talking about her daily life in the classroom. She has eat day meticulously planned out as well as a reading rotation throughout the year. I have learned so much off of her blog already and getting ideas for when I begin to teach. This will definitely come in handy.

My final blog I found is Mrs. Jump's Class. This adorable page features many activities she does with her students as well as good craft and classroom supplies. I love her "about me" page. She does not just post a small bio, but she regularly updates it with memories and things going on in her life. I appreciate the pride and time she spends make the crafts and lessons for her students, but also the time and energy she puts in her blog.
